The Uzbek model of professional community development combines academic expertise in econometrics and modelling, applied actuarial practice, trend identification, regional analytics, and a stronger role for data, modern statistical methods and governed models in insurance and pension provision.

In the session for association leaders, I will present the Uzbek perspective on the development of the actuarial profession in a reform environment: how to build standards, educational pathways and model application practices so that the market can speak to investors and regulators in a shared language of trust.
